Abstract

La necropolítica imperante hoy a escala global demanda una nueva orientación del pensamiento y de la ac-
ción. No es suficiente cambiar la perspectiva. Esta insuficiencia se ha hecho evidente en las maneras en que
las políticas de identidad constantemente son instrumentalizadas para reforzar la distribución corriente
de un capital, que en cada una de sus transmutaciones, se disuelve en una mera aparente oposición. Dicha
estrategia resulta problemática en tanto que no termina por cuestionar los mecanismos y técnicas de la
distribución misma, sino sólo cuáles serían las subjetividades que pueden ser explotadas por la distribución
en curso; una manera de proceder que finalmente se alimenta siempre de la exclusión de algunas formas de
vida y que precariza a algunos en nombre de la inclusión de otros dentro del orden corriente.

The necropolitics prevailing today on a global scale demands a new orientation for thinking and acting. It
is not enough to only change the perspective. This insufficiency has become evident in the ways in which
identity politics are constantly instrumentalized to reinforce the current distribution of capital, which in-
evitably transforms opposition into a simple appearance. Such a strategy is problematic insofar as it does
not end up questioning the mechanisms and techniques of distribution itself, but only the subjectivities
that can be exploited by the ongoing distribution; a way of proceeding that in the end always feeds on the
exclusion of some forms of life and precarizes others in the name of inclusion within the current order.
